We used ImageWriters back in grade school, at first with our Apple //es in every classroom (circa 1990) and then with Mac Classics (1992 or so). I remember at least one teacher having an ImageWriter with some old classics as late as 1996, and we used Mac SE's for HyperCard and word processing as late as 1999. However, these were attached with Macs of other pre-PowerMac variety to an AppleTalk network with a LaserWriter II. When I left said school in 1999, the school was 50/50 Mac/PC. I imagine they're all PCs now, as they never bought any new Macs after they got a bunch of PCs from a technology bond.
