An Asante LocalTalk - printer port - to Ethernet converter is what I like. The Ethernet on SCSI might have better speed but it does require some software and I'm not so sure there is much speed increase on a plus anyway. OS 10.4 will not talk to a plus. Steve has specifically disabled AppleTalk on Tiger for that purpose. It's OS 8.5 or so minimum. There was a time when I logged into a VAX with a plus. Versaterm (modem) or Versaterm Link (telnet via TCP/IP) was my favorite software for things like that.
