Yes, it still persists with 9.10 updated yesterday to latest available. An additional (maybe unuseful) note: the no-video occurs on AVi files on first minimizing action (i.e. minimize -> restore -> black video), instead on second action with OGV files (i.e. minimize -> restore -> video -> minimize -> restore -> black video).
