Hi, It's me again. I have some bad news. I've asked about you're bug at the bugsquad and the ubuntu-x channel. They tell me that the problem might be the ATI's driver. The exacly words were "fglrx is buggy with respect to having compositing and xvideo at the same time". So I recomend you try again the free X drivers. Regards malev
