Ok, that's interesting. I'm currently using Gnome Fallback (without effects) and although everything much smoother, the CPU usage is still high, when dragging the window, but I don't feel it. Maybe it's a problem with x.org. because I don't have that much usage of the CPU in in gnome shell, when I drag a window. I have honestly no clue what is going on.
