I have installed the daily packages for Raring (version 1:0.9.9~daily13.06.11~13.04) and put back my Radeon in my desktop.
It is really more stable than the default raring version. No freezing when I change virtual desktops. But I still have ALT-TAB freezes from time to time, for 2-6 seconds, then it resumes normally. Sometimes it is the fading in/out of the icons with ALT-TAB that is longer than usual. But this problem with ALT-TAB happens also with my other machine, a Dell portable with an integrated Intel card.
