I am not sure about the ALT-TAB if it is related or not. The problems I had with the old version was a combination of freezes when changing workspaces AND doing ALT-TAB. Now the workspace switching works fine but the ALT-TAB is still buggy. The showing and disappearing of the applications logos when ALT-TAB switching is buggy (freezes).
I removed my Radeon card again and rebooted with my Intel integrated card. The ALT-TAB works fine.
