from the last comment to this one ive experienced no issues at all with the patched compiz. flickering is gone like before and no freezes, had a feeling the freezes were from the driver and not from the patch.
have dota 2 open + google chrome with 10 tabs + minecraft all working smothly. for those who had freezes try the new driver.
