After a short introduction to the topic by the speakers, we hope for a debate that addresses the different ways in which art and science may be able to crossfertilize or potentially even achieve some form of integration in the present day. The speakers are respectively an artist interested in science (KP), who initiated the ArtScience Forum in Leiden (see references), and a scientist interested in art (FH), who is the new director Center Leo Apostel for the transdisciplinary integration of the different sciences and humanities.
