At one of the FOST tournaments I watched a top 9-dan pro play a program;
the program was one of the weaker ones but it played very quickly. The
pro matched the speed, certainly making each of his moves in less than a
second. After 200 or so moves the programmer resigned on behalf of his
program to prevent any more slaughter.

My point being that a top pro will find a high quality move in the time
it takes him to move the mouse from one side of the board to the other.
