I strongly vote for keeping the mailing list! It arrives automatically in my inbox, where it gets filtered into its proper place. I know from experience that I read incoming mail several times a day, and visit different "web boards" only a few time a week. using my mail reader for this provides me a uniform interface to all the lists I subscribe, instead of having to learn the interfaces of all those different web boards. I have this list archived at home, where I can search it as I want, with what ever tools I want, instead of some board manager deciding what kind of searches I need. And the list has been stable and well-functioning for a number of years - I would hate to see it being built on something that we have no control over, that could decide to go missing overnight, and leave us all high and dry. Nobody can stop you from starting a yahoo group, but I will stick with this list as long as there are interesting discussions here. Just my personal opinion, of course Heikki -- Heikki Levanto "In Murphy We Turst" heikki (at) lsd (dot) dk _______________________________________________ computer-go mailing list [email protected] http://www.computer-go.org/mailman/listinfo/computer-go/
