Well, let me modify that statement.  My point is that there's no point
in designing a go-specific instruction set.  One should use a proven
general-purpose instruction set.  I'm sure there are several
instructions in the 8086 set that would be a pain to implement and not
required (you can guarantee that the same effect can be produced with
other instructions).
