I've never much cared for forums. Does this one have features that allow me to use it like a mailing list (e.g. notifications of new messages, ability to respond quickly and easily in response to e-mail notifications, etc...) If possible, could you post the rules of the games as the first message in each forum? That'd at least help those of us who either don't know the game or haven't played it in quite a while. I too would be interested in other games. I went out of my way to build in support for my engine to play multiple games. I unfortunately have only one rules module (go), but that's easy enough to fix. As far as communication protocols, I'd like to have something that is gtp-like to keep life simple. > If you would like to have a subforum created on a topic related to game > programming, then don't hesitate to ask, and I'll add a new subforum. Other games that come to mind: Chess (covered elsewhere, I assume) Checkers Abalone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abalone_(board_game) I expect checkers and abalone to be very easy to attack with MC methods.
