I have looked into this in some detail! ;-)

In order of specificity (fewer false positives when searching)
they are:

1) Baduk -- used in another sense only as a stative verb in
Basque [extremely few web pages in Basque!], and seen
extremely rarely as the transliteration of a Farsi word
   (thus a film name)
2) WeiQi -- sadly, often a person's name
3) Igo -- often confused with "IGO" (an acronym)
4) Go -- almost useless

Unfortunately, many existing web pages are missed by restricting
oneself to searching for any single one of them -- the false
negatives.

What I recommend for all owners of English/Western Language web
pages is to use _all_ _of_ [1-3, and maybe 4] -- e.g.
"Baduk/ WeiQi/ Igo/ Go". If it becomes conventional for most
people to use at least 1-3, then we will get very few false
positives when searching.

Of course, when searching, this misses all the "oriental language
only" pages.

Soon, to increase the visibility of my own web pages to potential
oriental readers, I will include all the oriental representations

Chinese: Simplified: 围棋, Traditional: 圍棋 (wéiqí)
  Japanese: 囲碁 (igo)
  Korean: 바둑 (baduk)

At least in the keywords ...

These were taken from the Sensei's Library page at
   http://senseis.xmp.net/?Weiqi

Each of the above oriental representations , when enclosed in
quotation marks for searching, is very specific -- both
negligible false positives, and only a few false negatives.

Regards

Harry
