Perhaps influence is not the best name for the command, but it is just a name and not the issue I'm having.
"- 2. Each of these commands must provides their answer in the format defined by the first parameter in the response line gogui-analyze-command" My config file defines the following command: *dboard/Influence/influence* I have verified that gogui sends my program the influence command, the issue is with the format of the response. The gogui documention for dboard says the following: "dboard The response of the command is a board of floating point numbers that represent influence data. They will be displayed as black (positive) and white (negative) squares on the board. The maximum size of a square is such that the corner would touch the edge of a stone on that field; the edge length of the square is proportional to the floating point number. The numbers are expected to be between -1 and 1." This is what I'm not understanding, what is the expected format for " a board of floating point numbers". Do I just list 19*19 floating point numbers separated by spaces? Do I list like "A1 .7 A2 .5 A3 ..."? Thank you for your help. -Justin
