A very good solution. Thanks also from my side to Nick
for his never-ending engagement.

* The match will be "best of seven". Will it stop when
one side has gained 4 victories, or will all seven games
be played independently of the scores?

* Will John Tromp know in advance against which program
he has to play? If so, will he get the opportunity to
have some sparring with this program?

* Will the programmer's team get notations of games
played by John?

I would have liked to come, but my beloved wife set a
no-go: the time between Christmas and New Year is family
quality time! At least, I am allowed to follow the event
online.

In the forum of Germany's Go association (DGoB) we
have already a long threat on the event, see

Good luck to you, John, and Nick for the event.
Ingo.
