I'm still in Tokyo, and fine. (People in Tohoku have serious problems,
and people around Fukushima have a different kind of serious problem.)

Staying on-topic for this list, the biggest problem for computer go
development is lack of power, particularly this summer when there won't
be enough electricity for air conditioning.

Lots of clever people on this list: if you could invent a clean, safe,
efficient, cheap-to-produce energy source it would be very much
appreciated :-)

(To answer your question less glibly, I don't think there is much people
can do to help those in the real trouble, but the thought is appreciated.)
