I'm still in Tokyo, and fine. (People in Tohoku have serious problems, and people around Fukushima have a different kind of serious problem.) Staying on-topic for this list, the biggest problem for computer go development is lack of power, particularly this summer when there won't be enough electricity for air conditioning. > I want to encourage them: If you have the feeling > that people here from the list may be able to help > you in some way or the other, please let us know. Lots of clever people on this list: if you could invent a clean, safe, efficient, cheap-to-produce energy source it would be very much appreciated :-) (To answer your question less glibly, I don't think there is much people can do to help those in the real trouble, but the thought is appreciated.)
