Keep it, but do what Matt said and buy another. Extreme cases you can
get lucky and somewhere along the line find a receiver somewhere that
works with your mouse. There are a lot of channels these mice use to
communicate with the receivers but still possible, and again do not
waste time trying, just go to EBay or Newegg / Tigerdirect and get
yourself a nice Logitech wireless hookup, Microsoft is nice too.
