Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group and I'm hoping you can help me. I have a Dell Photo All in One printer 962. For some reason I have lost communication between the printer and my pc. I've tried rebooting (several times), uninstall and reinstalled the printer drivers, checked my firewalls, still nothing. I cannot even print a test page, the printer software is installed and the printer is set to default but I still cannot print and receive a communication error when I try to print. The error messages references USB001. I think I have a bad USB cable. I've tried everything else. Is there any way to test a USB cable to see if it's working or damaged? Can I buy some kind of wireless adapter for my printer so that I can print wirelessly...I have a lynksys wireless router that supports my personal pc and my child's pc. Any ideas???
