I'm thinking of purchasing 2x 1gig Memory Sticks for my Dell computer the current memory sticks are 2x 256mb PC2100 DDR32x64
I was wondering what is a compatable memory in the 1gig range? do I need to look for PC-2100 1gigs when I purchase new memory? will I need to have any other information to see if it's compatable with my computer? and finally how will my computer take it if I just plug and play the new memory into the computer?
