No, It doesnt seem to come on more often when the computer is in use.
It stops completely when I go to Standby mode. Then when I come out
of stand by it will start up again out of the blue. Its funny. I
used the computer all day yesterday and not a peep of noise. Now,
today, it's been doing it all day. Strange. I even downloaded some
hard drive checking software-- HD INspector, HD Tune, HDLifepro. They
all say my drive is in perfect order.
