Thanks Dentist, I've been checking the BIOS and CMOS settings on the Desktop for anything that seems obvious, however, nothing looks out of the ordinary. There doesn't appear to be a Legacy Support setting in the Desktop BIOS.
I have a Toshiba laptop that the Maxtor USB Drive connects to no problem. I want to compare the BIOS settings on the Laptop to the Desktop - the Laptop boots straight to XP. No memory test or message about how to access BIOS on the Laptop - weird huh? If I could figure out how to access the Laptop BIOS I think I may be able to make a valid comparison. Any ideas?
