Thanks Dentist,
I've been checking the BIOS and CMOS settings on the Desktop for
anything that seems obvious, however, nothing looks out of the
ordinary. There doesn't appear to be a Legacy Support setting in the
Desktop BIOS.

I have a Toshiba laptop that the Maxtor USB Drive connects to no
problem.
I want to compare the BIOS settings on the Laptop to the Desktop - the
Laptop boots straight to XP.
No memory test or message about how to access BIOS on the Laptop -
weird huh?
If I could figure out how to access the Laptop BIOS I think I may be
able to make a valid comparison.
Any ideas?
