Dentist is right about those specifications, but even if it is a PATA
IDE/EIDE hard drive, you can obtain a SATA to PATA adapter, sometimes
also called EIDE to SATA drive adaptor.

As long as your hard drive is still mechanically functional, you can
theoretically recover data from it, but in addition to the data
connection for the drive, you also have to have the corresponding
power adaptor from the power supply, SATA and PATA use different power
connectors, again a adaptor exists to convert these over if you so
require it.
