All sound on my pc plays fine until I run a dvd then the sound becomes distorted - a girggling-like sound. It's not the dvd's because they play fine also on the dvd player connected to the tv, and I have tried several different dvd's not just one.
I have tried changing my sound options and making all kinds of adjustments but nothing works. Could this be a missing codec? Or what is causing this? What can I do?
