Sounds to me like you have a bit of spy ware on your machine.
Spy ware is different to viruses as it is generally non
malicious.
This may be why Norton is not detecting it.
Spyware will install on your machine without your prior knowledge
and has been known to produce page pop-ups or ads while you are
browsing. There are some good programes that will remove spy ware
for
you but in my opinion Lavasoft Adware is a good free reliable
one.
You can download it from www.download.com
Install the programe, scan your computer and let me know if this
solves your problem!!
