maybe the photos were never actually download and they just were opened as
links from the cam it self, then when u removed the memory card it was
trying to access the photos it said that because the memory card was not
there any more.
if the images were never moved i think it wouldn't be possible to recover
them from the computer because it was never moved, the only thing left would
be trying to recover them from the camera's memory i guess
ps. all this is just some assumptions that might all be far from what really
happend :D lol
