I attempted to download a new version of an antivirus software by inserting the disk into the CD drive of my laptop. Apparently, it will not read the disk, but the disk works just fine in my desktop. Other CDs will also not work. I checked, and the computer recognizes the hardware. It seems that I also don't need any updates. I've also rebooted the computer. Any suggestions? Naturally, the laptop was purchased 13 months ago! It is a HP G70T-200.
