If you manage to know any skilled person with electronics and electricals, he/she will be so helpful for a torn cable. and costs nothing, but if you went to some savy repair shop it will cost you a new charger. Now for the laptop... what are the beeps?? I really hope you didnt fried anything, like mobo or something.
