Here <http://www.overclock.net/intel-memory/631830-4gb-installed-only-2gb-usable-g-2.html#post7980685>is one post which mentions problems with G.skill DIMMs. Not sure if it is pertinent to your case or not. Normally if the DIMMs are good and the motherboard supports the DIMM manufacturer and the size, 64 bit Windows 7 doesn't have problems recognizing 4gb. So it could be a combination of motherboard, BIOS and DIMM. Sorry can't be of more help.
