2GB would help with boot and application opening speeds for certain,
1GB is minimum for Windows 7.  Most TVs have a computer video input,
plus most tvs have audio attached to this port, you should be able to
see a headphones jack close to the analog connection, just use a 3.5mm
to 3.5mm cable for sound.

I would try to find a driver only package for the wireless and remove/
uninstall the entire wireless deal and just install the driver so
windows operates the wireless.
