Funny you should mention this problem with brown-outs, Bret. They seem to be very popular in our area (just north of Baltimore in Baltimore County, MD). We've actually had UPS's begin to beep when the brown-outs have been so prolonged that the UPS batteries have gotten down to their last gasp trying to keep our equipment running at full power. Sadly, this happens pretty often during prolonged hot-spellis in the summer.
