expensive than a Compact fluorescent was 10 years ago;  But it evens
out with the cost to run them being negligible and the savings from
all the standard bulbs that don't need to be changed.  Plus these are
dimmable.

They replaced two traffic lights in town already with the new LED
bulbs and they are brighter and cleaner looking.  Many of the top of
the line models of cars are using LED technology for taillights and
Brake lights.
