I am using Thunderbird 1.5 to conduct email services to and from an ATT mail server (or a Gmail server) via my COMCAST broadband connection. When I try to send an email to15 BBCed addresses from my ATT address, I get this error message "the mail server responded: [SUSPEND] /*Mailbox* *currently* *suspended* - Please contact correspondent directly./ Your email service is *suspended*. Please contact your provider." If I try to send the same message from my gmail address I get a slightly different error message ... "An error occured while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first.... Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again."

If I change my sending address to my COMCAST address that I never use, it sends normally.

Messages send normally from all addresses if I only have 2 o3 BCC addresses.

I assume the error messages above are not accurate ... that I am tripping some kind of spam guards at ATT and Gmail and either COMCAST does not have one or because it is the hardwired originating carrier/service, I am not tripping alarms that way.

Can anyone verify or explain the above?

I would really prefer to send such emails from the ATT or Gmail addresses that my friends are familiar with. Is there any way to do this?
