   Also, if you have a great burner, there should be no problem with 
skips and dropouts, but to be absolutely sure, you could use your 
burning sofware to slow the burner down below it's top burning speed 
(typically 16x these days).  Setting it for 1x (a one hour recording 
takes 1 hour to burn) should give the best laser pits, but if your 
burner has any wobble in the spindle, then you could still end up with 
a less than perfect recording.
