Looking for information / considerations / experience here. I want to purchase and LCD TV for our living room on a non-expansive budget. I also want to be able to feed said TV programming not just from an attached DVR and DVD player (and VCR probably for some stuff), but also ideally other content from our computers. What do I need to do this? Is this what the Apple TV does? Does the Apple TV fill any of the other above roles such that I could eliminate the DVR or DVD or both?

Any thoughts welcome.

Matthew
