Yeah, I think they took the actual power button off the keyboard and provided one with a modifier key because people were complaining about accidentally hitting the key and having to dismiss the shutdown dialog. They also had people mention the media eject key getting pressed accidentally, so now you have to hold it down a short bit before it ejects. I know many here don't think people should leave their computers on all the time, but many do mainly due to the advancements in energy savings, and having instant-on access can be helpful to a lot of people. So, if the power button is not going to be used the often, having it out of the way can cut down on many things -- like kids playing with it.
