I also run Mac OS 9, but I run it as "Classic" on my Mac OS 10.4.9 G5 iMac. It runs better and faster than it did in my older machines.

                  Mac OS 9 Forever!!

Under "Classic" I run FileMaker Pro, ver. 3.0v5, copyright 1984-1999.
Eight years old.

Under "Classic" I run Canvas 5, ver. 5.0.3, copyright 1987-1996. I've just started to use it. When I purchased it, I was told that it would run fine on my Mac Performa 450, but it did not. I put it on the shelf and just recently installed it, and it runs great!
Eleven years old.

Under "Classic" I run Panorama II, ver. 2.1.3, copyright 1991.
Sixteen years old.

Under "Classic" I run Calculator+, release 2, copyright 1985-1987 (Part of SideKick desk accessories). I like it's tape function better than the one in Apple's "Calculator".
**Twenty years old!!! It still works.

MY question is: When some year I purchase a MacIntel computer, will there be an emulator for it that will run Mac OS 9?

                 Mac OS 9 Forever!!

Thanks yes it is the 7300/180.

That is what I'm using at the moment (with a $99 accelerator card that
boosts it to 300 MHz). Very nice computer.

It runs everything through the end of OS 9. No OS X.
