Do you, or anyone, have other suggestions for me to try?
It's possible that the sound card software autoselects depending on what's plugged in. My board will tell me if a particular input is
occupied by a device, but I can override it via the mixer panel. I'm using Intel Audio Studio. All I can think of right now is try unplugging the mike and rebooting. It sounds like your levels are OK. If everything is copacetic you should be able to hear the deck's output while the phones are plugged into the computer, even if your JetAudio software is not engaged. I hope this helps, I know this must be frustrating but unless I can actually sit there in front of it I'm just in the dark at this point. Try turning off the speech software also, it can't hurt to reduce the variables here. It sounds to me (no pun intended) that the line in on the card is somehow disabled, probably in software. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
