When I was replacing the many CRTs in our office and classrooms I tried to get some information about how long these LCDs would last. I knew they would not last the 10-plus years of CRTs, but I hoped their life would be more than a couple of years. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything about it.
Now that LEDs are replacing the ELPs in LCDs, finally the truth be known. I just read that ELDs lose half their brightness every year. That's going to be a very short life. I feel cheated. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
