Yes into vector. No into CAD. Basic vector conversion capabilities are 
built into Illustrator (and recently improved in CS2). But not into CAD 
because there is no way for the software to identify what the individual 
units are. E.g. two concentric circles could be just two circles or it 
could be a washer. The software can't tell.
