I've used Can-Am's cabinets ( http://can-am.ca/ ) for some years, as
they are multipurpose (CDs, DVDs, VHS) and store large numbers in a
small space (compared to standard book-case type racks). One of their
standard 3-drawer metal cabinets stores 800 CDs in jewel cases
(narrow and two-drawer cabinets for smaller numbers), and the
cabinets can be stacked. What I like is that their cabinets are
closed, not open-faced. Keeps the dust down. They are made of
heavy-duty metal. Although made of metal, they come in various
colors, and you can add wheels and a top to make them blend in quite
well with the other furniture (depending on the other furniture, of course).
