What is the upgrade? There have been problems with .Net updates on some
systems - these are solvable but a little painful. In the meantime,
when you choose shutdown from the start button, you might see an option
(in small print) to click on to shut down without installing pending
updates.

I'm stumped.
When I go to shut down the computer I get a small window giving me the
option to perform an upgrade and then when finished the PC will shut
down. So I tell it to do the upgrade, but somewhere in the process it
fails to install. I have even tried the upgrade option in Internet
Explorer, but that doesn't seem work either. So how do I get this file
to upgrade the OS or at least stop showing up when I want to shut down
the machine?
Any ideas?
Thanks.
