A question for those who deal with Windows servers.
We're trying to move our Active Directory from Windows 2000 Server to
a new machine running Windows 2003 x64 Server R2. One step involves
running the adprep program that comes on the Win2003 install disks on
the Win2000 server to prepare the AD for migration. However, our
Win2000 server is 32-bit and the Win2003 server is 64-bit, and the
64-bit version of adprep will not work on the 32-bit machine.
Microsoft apparently does not have a download available for the
32-bit version of adprep. Does anybody know of a source for this? Or
am I going to have to beg, borrow, buy, etc., 32-bit Win2003 server
install CDs?
Thanks for any help the group can provide.
Adil
P.S. You can take it as read that I have filled my MS curse jar with
sufficient pennies to buy a Ferrari.....
