I use third party cartridges exclusively in my Epson. However, I only buy cartridges that have been proven to be of high quality and are consistent cartridge to cartridge. Personally, I only buy cartridges from MIS Associates at InkSupply.com. This firm specializes in high quality ink for the production of artwork, but they also offer a good line of "generic" inks as well, and very well priced.
