I agree. I regularly see people listening to audio books take out the CD, find the package, find the next CD, put in the next CD, driving all the while. People regularly scan through radio stations while driving. I often see people turning around to talk to someone in the back seat while driving. Not to mention ogling a yard sale or pretty woman or Victorian house (depending on personal preferences) instead of watching the street. In fact, 99 out of 100 people will stare at me funny when I say I passed an accident but don't know what happened. "Why don't you know the details?" "Because I was driving and the cars around me were already acting unpredictably - didn't want an accident on my side."
