Fear makes you do the darndest things.

Sounds more like hardware-centric Apple's worst nightmare.  I don't have to
pay the Apple cachet pump tax, get a bajillion times more hardware options
and still get to run OS X, albeit virtually?  Helloooooo PCs. 

Even stranger when you consider the profit from the 2nd retail sale of OS X
is pushing 100%, not unlike pharmaceuticals. The overhead is trivial and
unlike pharmaceuticals, distribution could be done electronically over the
web.
