Hi

I have three computers connected in a network. Windows XP. Two of the computers are upstairs: one is connected wirelessly, the other is wired to the router. The third one is connected through a wire that goes downstairs (my office) through a whole on the
floor.

I am connected with cable modem.

The two computers upstairs are working fine. I get the e-mail and access the web quickly without problems. The one downstairs is giving me problems of an intermittent kind. I can send and receive e-mail, no problem. But when it comes to access sites in the web I am in troubles. Most of the time I can“t access the sites I want. When I try I get the message that IE could connect with the site. Then, once in a while I do get the sites... for limited time. Interesting to notice that things like www.google.com I can access
anytime...

I am considering changing the cable or the network adapter in the computer...

Any other thoughts?

Many thanks
