>mice... But like the other poster asked, how do you define the last several >years?
August 2005 makes it just a bit longer than a "couple" of years. Hence, "several." >And it has 4 buttons, not 5... 1) Primary button (usually left) 2) Secondary button (usually right) 3) The "pea" (scroll ball) 4) Left base 5) Right base #4 and #5 must be pressed together (squeezed), but are separate buttons. You might want to call it a 4-function, 5-button mouse, but that would be silly. >One thing I was >surprised to see was that Apple was selling other brands of mice from >their site. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I haven't >notice in the past their willingness to expand beyond their own You really should get out more. Apple sells a lot of stuff from other companies and they usually pick the best from what is available. You should go to an Apple Store and get drunk on all the possibilities. Their prices are reasonable too, especially in light of the high level of service they offer. This has been true for *many* years. After going to an Apple Store, the experience of going to a PC superstore feels like going to a third-world bazaar selling piles of first-world rejects. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
