The problem with Safari is that it fails to meet accepted standards with regard to rendering of HTML, support for the HTTP protocol, etc.

I'm using the Safari 3.0b beta. It passes the ACID2 compliance test. It's JavaScript implementation is not up to that of FireFox, however.
