My experience is negative. Four weeks out of Applecare and an iBook
HD failure resulted in plenty of free Genius help diagnosing, and an
"I'm sorry it will be $300 to replace." Time for the #00 philips and
the iFixit instructions. One would hope they'd be better with a logic
board on an iMac failure than with a laptop drive.
